Kaiming's: Fresh, Authentic Asian Flavors in Edmonton's Hidden Gem

OH MY LORD!!!! Amazing!!! Incredibly fresh and Absolutely delicious!.. Trust me this is the place you want to go.. I am an extremely picky and a germ phob! This place is spotless and even the bathroom is wickedly clean.. I hade the Ginger Beef, Lemon Chicken, Fried vegetables and Chicken chow mein, every thing was so fresh and perfectly cooked. I am a long haul trucker and my meal of choice in Canadian Chinese food. I have been to many establishments from coast to coast and this place has made it into my top 2 ever. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you will not be disappointed.

While it is in somewhat of an unusual location, the food and service here is excellent. My wife and I went here for lunch about a week ago, and were the only ones there. We like a quiet place to eat, so it was perfect. The staff were super friendly, and the food was hot, fresh, and very tasty. The portions were also huge, too! We ended up taking half of our meal home with us. While the design and layout of the restaurant itself wasn't exactly stellar (very clean and bright, though!), everything else more than made up for it. Personally, I'd recommend trying this place out at least once. I don't think you'll regret it.

Kaiming’s is one of those rare hidden gems you almost don’t want to tell people about. The food is incredibly fresh, easily some of the freshest Chinese food I’ve had in Edmonton, and genuinely unlike anything else in the city. You can taste the difference in the sauces, everything is made fresh, balanced, and not overly heavy. The cooks clearly take their time and care with each dish, and it shows in the final result. Service is always friendly and consistent, which makes the experience even better. Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, but absolutely worth the drive if you care about quality food done right.

What a great spot for Chinese food! It's a little bit out of the way but worth the drive. The food was super tasty, well prepared and presented. It's unpretentious and fresh. The family running Kaiming is very friendly and quick to take care of you. Ditch the chain restaurant and do yourself a favour by trying Kaiming!

Great little restaurant!! Excellent fresh food and very good portions. No MSG either. Good selection of Chinese dishes. I will definitely be going back for more!!! Staff are very attentive of your wants and go out of the way to get you what you want!!

Wow. Great find. Lovely place, interesting location. Impeccably clean, very comfortable feel. Food is excellent. The folks that own/work here are so kind and friendly. I see they might have a couple of dim sum items???

Stumbled upon this hidden gem when attending an appt in the area. It seems to be a family operated business with a cozy atmosphere perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. The staff were very friendly and attentive to customers. But the real star of the show is the food itself. I was presented a “specials” menu where I chose the beef and broccoli, ginger chicken and chicken fried rice. The food is prepared fresh and served piping hot and simply outstanding! I have been there three times in the past month and have yet to be disappointed by the food or service. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are a fan of Asian food.
